COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Thank you so much for your loyalty and flexibility during this time of uncertainty. Your continued support means the world to us. The safety and well-being of our students and families is our top priority. We plan to comply with all of the guidelines given by local governing authorities and health departments. Out of abundance of caution, we also plan to implement the following measures to do our part to protect the safety of our students:

  • Students will enter using the entrance facing Luther Lane only (not Douglas).

  • Only students and staff members are permitted inside the building at this time (Exception: Students under the age of 6 and first time students are allowed to have one guest accompany them inside the building at drop-off and pick-up);

  • The lobby will be closed off from parent observation and visitors at this time;

  • We ask that everyone age 10 and older wear a mask at all times when inside the buildingAll staff members wear masks 100% of the time;

  • Please do not bring backpacks or large bags inside the building. Only bring inside what is absolutely necessary and what you are able to carry in your hands or in one small bag (Ex. dance shoes, water bottle, etc.);

  • Student temperatures will be screened upon entry;

  • Staff will screen health daily;

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance/exit as well as throughout the studio;

  • Staff will be required to frequently sanitize and wash hands;

  • We will implement social distancing of at least 6 feet for all students, using clear floor markers;

  • We will implement extensive cleaning and sanitizing practices, including daily cleanings and cleanings between classes and lessons;

  • Water fountains will be closed (students will bring their own water bottles);

  • Parents of young students, please talk to your children about the importance of keeping hands to themselves as well as following directions (especially when it comes to standing in their assigned spot);

Our hope is that all of these measures will help everyone stay safe and feel the freedom to enjoy their classes without fear.

While it is our hope that we will be able to continually roll-back restrictions as the year goes on, we acknowledge that the COVID-19 progression will direct much of how that process will look. Please take into account that if the need arises, we may temporarily move to online and Zoom classes or operate on an A/B day in-person schedule if warranted to keep our community safe.
